The Torah is written in Hebrew and is the book of the Jewish Faith. The Torah was originally presented to Moses at Mount Sinai. As a result, the Torah refers to the five books of Moses: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. The Torah is written in a Scroll and is hand written on parchment in Hebrew calligraphy. Torahs are kept covered in cloth, and generally adorned with ornamental silver crowns and breastplates. The Torahs are stored in an ark in Synagogues.
